Interested parents and caregivers are invited to our first meeting of Term 2.
Wednesday 8th May at 7pmIthaca Creek State SchoolTeaching and Learning Centre (Library)21 Dacca Street, Red Hill(Entry also via Lugg St drive way)
Getting your child through school can sometimes be a challenge, when they have learning or emotional difficulties, it can feel impossible.
It’s vital to be able to connect with other parents/caregivers who are sharing a similar experience, or who have been through it, and are almost out the other side.
The ICSS Learning Difficulties Support Group is here for you, and ready to provide a chance to get together with other parents/caregivers at our meetings, or provide individual support. Learn what’s worked for some parents, what hasn’t, where to find a good speech pathologist, and just talk to others who understand what you’re going through.
You don’t have to have a specific diagnosis, if you are worried things don’t seem right come along and have a chat.
RSVP by Tuesday 7 May
Please email the group co-ordinator, Terri Bainbridge (Mum to an awesome son with dyslexia)
